Christmas 2018 Review

At the Christmas break, all our teams have played four matches each. The Ladies won two of theirs and lie in the middle of Division 2. But, with the exception of Honiton, all the other teams have at least one game in hand, so Sidmouth will have work to do to maintain a respectable position in 2019.

The Mens team are unbeaten and are five points clear at the top of Division 1. Glory may await them at the end of the season.

Mixed A are also at the top of their division, having won three matches and amassing a seventeen point lead over nearest rivals Otter Vale A. But Otter Vale have two games in hand, so the points difference could narrow over the coming weeks.

Mixed B sit in the middle of Division 2B, nine points adrift of leaders Ringswell C. This is not an insurmountable gap, so some good play in 2019 will put them in touch of the silverware.
